Citroën has officially launched the Dark Edition of its C3, Aircross, and Basalt SUV Coupé models in India. These limited-edition vehicles feature aesthetic upgrades both inside and out, catering to consumers who appreciate bold design and contemporary style.
The Dark Edition models are distinguished by their Perla Nera black body color. Dark chrome accents appear on the chevron badge, front grille, and body side molding, while gloss black treatments are applied to the bumpers and door handles. The C3, Aircross, and Basalt also get dual-tone alloy wheels, which bring a nice contrast to the car’s dark theme.
Inside, the all-black theme continues with metropolitan black leatherette seats and a custom leatherette-wrapped instrument panel. Lava red detailing and high-gloss black finishes accentuate the carbon black interiors. The seats are upholstered in leatherette with the Citroën logo embossed on them, and the instrument console is also leather-wrapped.
Key Features and Specifications
Given that these models are based on the top-spec variants, the Citroën Dark Editions come loaded with features, including a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s also automatic climate control, electrically adjustable ORVMs, a 7-inch digital console, wireless charging, and a multi-function steering wheel. On the safety front, the vehicles come with six airbags, ABS with EBD, and ESC. There are also rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and more.
