Škoda Auto has officially teased the Elroq RS, the sporty variant of its electric SUV, ahead of its global debut on April 3, 2025. The Elroq RS is set to make its world premiere at 10:00 CET, with the event being streamed live on Škoda’s official YouTube channel. Following its digital debut, the Elroq RS will be showcased publicly at Milan Design Week 2025, running from April 8 to 13.
Design and Aesthetics
The Elroq RS features a striking Hyper Green paint, reminiscent of the Octavia RS showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The SUV’s exterior is enhanced with a redesigned front bumper, blacked-out ‘SKODA’ lettermark, roof rails, ORVMs, and RS badging above the front fenders. The tail-lights are engraved with ‘Skoda Crystal Lighting,’ adding to the premium appeal. The Elroq RS also comes with aero-optimised alloy wheels, featuring a body-coloured strip to match its bold styling. The top-end variant will have the option of 21-inch wheels, similar to those on the Skoda Vision 7S concept.
Interior
Inside, the Elroq RS gets sportier elements, including ‘RS’ badging on the steering wheel and sports seats. While Skoda has not disclosed full interior details, it is expected to feature a dark headliner and a driver-focused cockpit, much like other RS models. Premium technology additions likely include a 13-inch central infotainment screen, a head-up display, ambient lighting, and a wireless charging pad.
Powertrain and Performance
The Elroq RS is expected to be powered by an 85kWh battery pack, similar to the Enyaq RS, offering a range of around 560km on the WLTP cycle. However, due to its performance enhancements, the actual range could be slightly lower.
The SUV is likely to get a 326hp rear-wheel-drive (RWD) electric motor, making it a powerful contender in the electric SUV segment. The standard Elroq 85 produces 278 bhp, achieving 0-100 kmph in 6.6 seconds, with a top speed of 180 kmph. Given these performance benchmarks, the Elroq RS is expected to exceed 296 bhp, likely featuring a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup capable of 0-100 kmph in under five seconds.
